The diploma thesis deals with the issue of delirious states in acute care wards. The theoretical part of the work is focused on summary information about delirious states, such as characteristics, causes, risk factors, occurrence, distribution, diagnosis, symptoms, treatment options, restrictive measures and nursing care.
