The aim of the master's thesis is to explain the concepts of "sommerso" and "salvato" by analyzing some works by the Italian writer Primo Levi, known for his literary work with the theme of the concentration camp. Předmětem magisterské diplomové práce je přiblížit koncepty "sommerso" a "salvato" analýzou některých děl italského spisovatele Prima Leviho, známého svou literární tvorbou s námětem koncentračního tábora. Diplomová práce se zabývá primárně prvním románem „Se questo è un uomo“, poslední esejí „I sommersi e i salvati“ a sbírkou rozhovorů s Giovanni Tesiem. Skládá se ze dvou částí.
