Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na důkladné zkoumání událostí 11. září 2001 a jejich rozsáhlých dopadů na světovou bezpečnost. Práce je rozdělena do několika klíčových kapitol, které se zabývají různými aspekty této problematiky. Začíná historickým kontextem, který poskytuje hloubkové porozumění událostem předcházejícím útokům 11. září. Dále analyzuje průběh samotných útoků, jejich způsob provedení a následné dopady na světovou bezpečnost. Další kapitola se zaměřuje na dopad událostí 11. září na bezpečnost v letecké dopravě, zkoumá změny v bezpečnostních opatřeních a jejich účinnost při ochraně cestujících a leteckých systémů. Následující část se věnuje rozšíření pravomocí vlády v oblasti ochrany národní bezpečnosti jako reakci na teroristické hrozby. Vrchol práce představuje analýza války proti terorismu a snahy o dopadení hlavního organizátora útoků, Usámy bin Ládina. Tato část zkoumá mezinárodní reakce na události 11. září, vojenské operace vedené proti teroristickým skupinám a úsilí o spravedlnost a pomstu. Celkově práce nabízí komplexní pohled na události 11. září 2001 a jejich důsledky na světovou bezpečnost, přičemž poskytuje analýzu historických, politických a bezpečnostních aspektů této problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on a thorough examination of the events of September 11, 2001, and their extensive impacts on global security. The thesis is divided into several key chapters that address various aspects of this issue. It begins with historical context, providing in-depth understanding of the events preceding the September 11 attacks. It further analyzes the course of the attacks themselves, their method of execution, and subsequent impacts on global security. The next chapter focuses on the impact of the September 11 events on aviation security, examining changes in security measures and their effectiveness in protecting passengers and aviation systems. The following section addresses the expansion of government powers in the field of national security in response to terrorist threats. The culmination of the thesis is the analysis of the war on terrorism and efforts to apprehend the mastermind of the attacks, Osama bin Laden. This part explores international reactions to the events of September 11, military operations conducted against terrorist groups, and efforts for justice and retribution. Overall, the thesis offers a comprehensive view of the events of September 11, 2001, and their implications for global security, providing analysis of historical, political, and security aspects of this issue.
