This bachelor thesis examines two medieval novels by the 12th century French trouvère Chrétien de Troyes. The primary focus is on the ideals of chivalry and courtly love, which were popular during the medieval period. Táto bakalárska práca skúma dva stredoveké romány francúzskeho truvéra Chrétiena de Troyes, ktorý pôsobil v 12. storočí. Sústreďuje sa na ideálne rytierstvo a dvorskú lásku, ktoré boli v tom období veľmi populárnymi témami.
