Depiction of paranoia and neonoir as a genre in the film Inherent Vice
Abstract:
Předmětem práce je žánrová analýza filmu Skrytá vada (2014) v kontextu subžánru neo-noir. Nejdřív je krátce představen sémanticko-syntaktický přístup k žánru podle Ricka Altmana, který následuje vymezení žánru neo-noir a jeho klíčových prvků. Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is a genre analysis of neo-noir in the film Inherent Vice (2014). Using the semantic-syntactic approach to genre as established by Rick Altman, certain neo-noir elements are chosen and applied to the film with the goal of identifying the director's intent.
