Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá prestižními anglickými soukromými internátními školami, tzv. 'Public schools' a tím, jak jsou tyto školy a život na nich znázorňovány v literatuře. Abstract:
The Bachelor’s Diploma Thesis deals with the institution of English Public schools and its representations in literature. In my thesis I compare three texts by three different authors: Rudyard Kipling's "Stalky and Co.", P. G. Wodehouse's "Mike" and Roald Dahl's "Boy". I compare and contrast the school stories among themselves as well as with the authors' own schooling experience.
