Abstract:

Komunikační brány, které jsou klíčové pro provoz mnoha průmyslových systémů, poskytují prostředky pro propojení komunikačních protokolů, zpracování dat a umožňují propojení systémů nižší a vyšší úrovně. S rozvojem technologií průmyslového internetu věcí přinášejí nové možnosti a výzvy pro úlohu a design komunikačních bran v těchto prostředích. Tato práce představuje komplexní studii a analýzu stávajících komunikačních bran se zaměřením na jejich silné a slabé stránky. Analyzuje způsoby konfigurace těchto systémů a diskutuje jejich výhody a nevýhody s ohledem na zamýšlené řešení. Na základě zjištěných skutečností práce navrhuje optimální způsob konfigurace, který umožňuje snadné nasazení centrální aplikace jako multifunkčního nástroje. Významnou část této studie tvoří implementace a testování navržené konfigurační metody s protokolem Modbus s důrazem na jeho bitové a celočíselné operace. Nasazená aplikace může zpracovávat, filtrovat a agregovat data, spouštět servery specifické pro daný protokol, propojovat protokoly a provádět jednoduché operace, jako je použití offsetů nebo násobičů, což jsou operace často nezbytné před přenosem hodnot do systémů vyšší úrovně.

Abstract:

Crucial to the operation of many industrial systems, Communication Gateways provide a means to bridge communication protocols, process data, and allow the interconnection of lower and higher-level systems. As the Industrial Internet of Things technologies evolves, they introduce new possibilities and challenges to the role and design of Communication Gateways within these environments. This thesis presents a comprehensive study and analysis of existing Communication Gateways, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses. It analyzes these systems' configuration methods and discusses their advantages and drawbacks, considering the intended solution. Based on the findings, the thesis proposes an optimal configuration method that allows for the easy deployment of a central application as a multifunctional tool. A significant part of this study involves implementing and testing the proposed configuration method with the Modbus protocol, emphasizing its bit and integer operations. The deployed application can process, filter, and aggregate data, run protocol-specific servers, bridge protocols, and carry out simple operations, such as applying offsets or multipliers, operations often necessary before transmitting values to higher-level systems.
