Dual education system at the Department of Finance and Controlling

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to identify the correctness of the implementation of dual education at dm drogerie markt in the Finance and Controlling department. At the same time, to define the benefits and expectations, as well as possible shortcomings that affect the mentioned educational system. The thesis consists of three parts – theoretical, practical, and research. The theoretical part deals with the introduction of the dual education system in Slovakia. It presents definitions of the terms used in the fields of vocational education in the dual education system. The practical part of this thesis describes the implementation of dual education in the Finance and Controlling department. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the research section, which analyses anonymously structured interviews with dual education instructors, anonymously structured interviews with dual education students, and analyses an anonymous questionnaire with dual education students. The research part of this thesis focuses on identifying the benefits and shortcomings that the implementation of dual education has brought to the Finance and Controlling department.In conclusion, I present my recommendations for improving and optimizing this educational system.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je identifikovať správnosť nastavenia duálneho vzdelávania v spoločnosti dm drogérie markt na oddelení Financie a Controlling. Zároveň definovať prínosy a očakávania, ako aj možné nedostatky, ktoré ovplyvňujú uvedený vzdelávací systém. Práca pozostáva z troch časti – teoretickej, praktickej a výskumnej. Teoretická časť sa zaoberá zavedením systému duálneho vzdelávania na Slovensku. Predstavuje definície použitých pojmov z oblastí odborného vzdelávania v systéme duálneho vzdelávania.V praktickej časti tejto práce je popísané zavedenie duálneho vzdelávania na oddelení Financie a Controlling. Posledná časť práce je venovaná výskumnej časti, ktorá analyzuje anonymizované štruktúrované rozhovory s inštruktormi duálneho vzdelávania, anonymizované štruktúrované rozhovory so žiakmi duálneho vzdelávania a analyzuje anonymný dotazník so žiakmi duálneho vzdelávania. Zameriava sa na identifikáciu prínosov a možných nedostatkov, ktoré zavedenie duálneho vzdelávania prinieslo na oddelenie Financie a Controlling. V závere práce uvádzam svoje odporúčania na zlepšenie a optimalizáciu tohto vzdelávacieho systému.
