Abstract:
Malý kyslý ľudský proteín DSS1 interaguje s tumor supresorovým proteínom BRCA2, ktorý pôsobí ako rekombinačný mediátor pri procese opravy DNA pomocou homologickej rekombinácie. Napriek tomu, že štruktúra DSS1 proteínu je známa, a že DSS1 interaguje s proteínom BRCA2, jeho funkcia v procese homologickej rekombinácie zostáva neobjasnená. DSS1 is a small acidic protein, which interacts with BRCA2, a tumor suppressor protein, that acts as a recombination mediator during DNA repair mediated by the process of homologous recombination. Despite its known structure and interaction with BRCA2 protein, the function of DSS1 protein during the homologous recombination remains unclear.
