Nikos Kazantzakis and Bohuslav Martinů: from novel Christ Recrucified towards The Greek Passion
Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá románem Nikose Kazantzakise Kristus znovu ukřižovaný a libretem Bohuslava Martinů Řecké pašije, které bylo napsáno na základě tohoto románu. Cílem této bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím tematické analýzy románu a následné komparace s libretem vyzkoumat, které aspekty románu v libretu převládají.
Abstract:
This thesis is about novel of Nikos Kazantzakis Christ Recrucified and libretto of Bohuslav Martinů The Greek Passion, which is based on this very novel. The objective of this thesis is to research the aspects of novel which dominate in libretto by means of the thematic analysis of the novel and comparison with libretto.
