Spine injuries in the context of polytrauma

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma ?Spinální poranění v rámci polytraumatu? pojednává o problematice výskytu poranění míchy a páteře u závažných traumat. Úvodní kapitola práce je zaměřena na obecnou problematiku polytraumatu. Následuje nutné minimum z anatomie míchy a páteře. Další kapitoly popisují úrazové mechanismy, možná zranění páteře a míchy, postup na místě nehody a diagnostiku spinálního poranění. Praktická část bakalářské práce je retrospektivní analýza zdravotnické dokumentace z Urgentního příjmu Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava za léta 2013-2015. Výzkumné šetření bylo zaměřeno na pacienty se vstupní diagnózou T. 07 polytrauma. U těchto pacientů byly dále zkoumány faktory: datum příjmu, pohlaví, věk, přítomnost spinálního poranění, přítomnost neurologického deficitu, postižený úsek páteře, nejčastější příčiny úrazů, porovnání vstupní symptomatologie a nálezu na CT vyšetření.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor work ?Spinal injuries in the context of polytrauma? is about the incidence of spine and spinal cord injury in severe traumas. Initial chapters are devoted to general problems of polytrauma. Followed by the necessary minimum of spine and spinal cord anatomy. Other chapters describe the mechanisms of injury, spine and spinal cord injuries, procedure at the accident site and diagnosis of spinal injury. The practical part is a retrospective analysis of the medical documentation from the emergency department of university hospital in Ostrava for the years 2013-2015. This analysis identifies the number of admitted patients with diagnosis T. 07 polytrauma. In these cases were investigated factors: date received, sex, age, the presence of spinal injury, the presence of neurological deficit, injured spinal segment, the most frequent causes of injury, compared input symptoms and findings on CT.
