The Functions of the Medieval Chinese Architecture in the Comparison to the Western Medieval Architecture
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je porovnání charakteristických rysů a jednotlivých funkcí čínské středověké architektury se západní středověkou architekturou a následně určit v čem se čínská architektura liší od té západní, případně co mají obě společného.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on description and comparison of the Romanesque and the Gothic architectural styles of medieval Europe, and Eastern architecture of the Sung dynasty of China. The goal of this thesis is to cover and explain the differences between European and Chinese medieval architectural styles comparing the two cultural areas.
