Abstract:

Bezpečnost pacienta je jednou z hlavních priorit ošetřovatelské péče. Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na perioperační ošetřovatelskou péči, na možná rizika, kterým je pacient v perioperačním období vystaven a na mechanismy, které by mohly těmto rizikům nežá-doucích událostí zabránit. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem perioperační péče, perioperační sestra a zaměřuje se na celostní péči o pacienta v perioperačním období. Vysvětluje pojem a význam akreditace zdravotnických zařízení a standardů ošetřovatelské péče. Identifikuje rizika nežádoucích událostí v rámci perioperační ošetřovatelské péče. Dále zmiňuje systémová opatření MZČR (Ministerstvo zdravotnictví České republiky), která vedou k zajištění vyšší bezpečnosti pacientů i kvalitě poskytované zdravotní péče. Neopomenutelnou oblast teoretické části představuje pak projekt WHO (Světová zdravotnická organizace), který se zabývá bezpečím pacientů a jehož výsledkem je Surgical Safety Checklist (Chirurgický bezpeč-nostní list), jako doporučený postup bezpečnostního procesu na operačních sálech. Praktická část je zpracována metodou kvantitativního průzkumného šetření, které je reali-zováno formou dotazníků. Cílem tohoto šetření je zjištění, zda a jak perioperační sestry provádějí bezpečnostní proces na operačních sálech a zajišťují bezpečnost pacienta.

Abstract:

Patient safety is a top priority of nursing care. In my thesis I focus on perioperative nursing care and also possible risks which is the patient exposed to in the perioperative period and on the mechanisms which could prevent these risks of undesirable consequences. The theoretical part specifies such terms as perioperative care and perioperative nurse. It also focuses on total patient's care during perioperative time. It explains the concept and importance of accreditation of medical institutions and standards of nursing care. It identi-fies the risk of adverse consequences within the perioperative nursing care. The theoretical part also mentions system measures of the Ministry of Health in the Czech Republic which is designed to ensure higher level of patient's safety and quality of provided health care. An important area in the theoretical part is introduced by the project of the WHO (World Health Organization) which occupies with safety of patients and results in the Surgical Safety Checklist (surgical safety data sheet) the recommended procedure of the safety process at the operating theatre. The practical part is processed by using a method of quantitative research which is made as standardized questionnaires. The aim of this survey is to find out whether and how pe-rioperative nurses perform safety process at operating theatre and provide patient's safety.
