Short film distribution in theaters

Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku distribuce krátkých filmů v kinech. Uvádí příklady úspěšných modelů ze zahraničí, užívání předfilmů a vytváření pásma krátkých filmů. Práce popisuje současnou situaci v českém prostředí a snaží se v ní sledovat podobné mechanismy a podmínky pro jejich rozvoj.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis is focused on field of short film distribution. It describes examples of successful distribution models in other european countries, principle of pre-films (using shorts before the main screening in cinemas) and creating block of short films. The thesis shows contemporary situation in czech surroundings and tries to find similar mechanism possibilities.
