Effect of sharing economy on tourism in regions

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje fenoménu sdílené ekonomiky ve světě a v České republice a jejímu dopadu na cestovní ruch a jeho jednotlivé prvky. Cílem bakalářské práce je charakterizovat sdílenou ekonomiku jako fenomén současného světa a zhodnotit její vliv na cestovní ruch v regionech. Při provedené analýzy bylo zjištěno, že většina dostupných statistik a reportu (včetně statistik Úřadu vlády ČR) ukazují na růst objemu sdílené ekonomiky v ČR v posledních letech. Vedle zahraničních digitálních platforem, které rozšiřují své služby i na Českou republiku, tak vznikají i čistě domácí společnosti. V době koronavírové krize se obzvlášť rozšířila poptávka po sdílených kolech, koloběžkách, autech a motorkách, zejména protože lidé nechtěli z bezpečnostních důvodů využívat hromadné dopravní prostředky. Lze předpokládat, že po odeznění opatření se budou rozšiřovat také služby sdíleného ubytování.

Abstract:

This work deals with the phenomenon of shared economy in the world and in the Czech Re-public and its impact on tourism and its individual elements. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the shared economy as a phenomenon of the contemporary world and to evalu-ate its impact on tourism in the regions. The analysis revealed that most of the available statistics and reports (including statistics of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic) show an increase in the volume of the shared economy in the Czech Republic in recent years. In addition to foreign digital plat-forms, which are expanding their services to the Czech Republic, purely domestic companies are also emerging. During the coronary crisis, the demand for shared bicycles, scooters, cars, and motorcycles became particularly widespread, especially because people did not want to use public transportation for security reasons. It can be assumed that shared accommodation services will also be expanded once the measures have lapsed.
