Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se zabývám otázkou mezinárodního a evropského boje proti terorismu. Nejprve věnuji pozornost definování pojmu terorismus a shrnutí významných výkladů tohoto pojmu. Vytvoření jednotné definice je problém, který je rozebírán již celou řadu let a dosud nebyl vyřešen. Dále objasním postavení České republiky a Spojených států amerických vůči terorismu. Také zde věnuji prostor analýze útoků z 11. září. Tyto útoky byly klíčovým faktorem pro další vývoj protiteroristických opatření ve světě. Podstatná část práce se zabývá mezinárodními organizacemi, (OSN, NATO, Rada Evropy, EU, OBSE a Interpol). Tyto organizace přijaly nespočetné množství dokumentů, jejichž cílem je prevence terorismu. V mé práci zmiňuji nejvýznamnější z nich. V neposlední řadě zde uvádím problematiku boje s financováním terorismu.

Abstract:

In this thesis I concerned with matter of international and European fight against terrorism. At first I pay attention to concept definition of terrorism and summary of significant interpretations of this conception. Creation of integrated definition is a problem which is analyzed for many years and haven´t yet been tackled. Next I expound attitude of Czech Republic and United States of America towards terrorism. I also pay attention to analysis of September 11 attacks. These attacks were key factor for advancement of counterterrorism measures int the world. Great deal of a thesis attends to international organizations (UN, NATO, Council of Europe, EU, OSCE, Interpol). These organizations adopted many documents whose aim is prevention of terrorism. In my thesis I make a mention of the most significant of them. Last but not least I mention a problem of terrorism financing.
