Wellness tourism as a new trend in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Our living style has an influence on our health. Good physical condition and good state of health are a presumption for contented and full-valued life. The big part of the population understood, that especially the living style, the nutrition and the physical activity have a fundamental influence on the state of health. This living style helps the patients in a therapy and also healthy people of a prevention of illness. The intention of this thesis was charting of wellness popularity ? a new living style, from the customers and hoteliers point of view. What kind of possibilities is offered for the relaxation, sport on the market, too. The first part of this thesis describes the origin and development of the wellness. This thesis contains the information about the healthy nutrition and about the possibilities of the services in spa-wellness and in wellness hotels. The further part of the thesis informs you about the most utilized services by customers and how they are offered on the Czech market. This information is processed in diagrams for better overview.

Abstract:

Životní styl zásadně ovlivňuje naše zdraví. Podmínkou spokojeného a plnohodnotného života je dobrá kondice a dobrý zdravotní stav. Velká část populace pochopila, že zásadní vliv na zdravotní stav má právě životní styl, výživa a pohybová aktivita. Tyto faktory pomáhají nemocným v léčbě a zdravým při prevenci - vzniku onemocnění. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zmapovat, především z perspektivy poskytovatele, jaké oblibě se v České republice těší wellness. Dále bylo také úkolem zjistit, jaké možnosti k relaxaci, regeneraci, sportu se na trhu v rámci wellness nabízejí. Úvod práce informuje o vzniku a vývoji Wellness. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o zdravé výživě a o možnostech využití služeb lázeňského wellness a wellness zařízení hotelového typu. Empirická část práce vás seznámí se službami, které jsou v České republice nejvíce využívány a jaká je jejich nabídka na českém trhu. Pro správné vyhodnocení stanovených hypotéz, byla aplikována metoda dotazníku, jehož výsledky jsou pro přehlednost zpracovány formou jednoduchých grafů.
