Affiliates of the International non-governmental organizations in Czech republic: Example Transparency International

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá rolí mezinárodních nevládních organizací v České republice. Pro bližší analýzu jejich fungování jsem analyzovala činnost českých poboček Amnesty International, Greenpeace a Transparency International. Hlubší sondu do jejich činnosti jsem učinila v případové studii české pobočky Transparency International. Práce je zaměřena na projekty českých poboček mezinárodních nevládních organizací a způsoby jejich prosazování. U případové studie Transparency International analyzuji národní vliv na její činnost, a sice pomocí srovnání s centrem Transparency International a její australskou pobočkou. Dále se případová studie české pobočky Transparency International zaměřuje na projekty, které vede, na zdroje jejího financování a na vztah k médiím.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is dealing with the role of the international non-governmental organizations in Czech Republic. For closer analysis of their function, I analyzed the activity of the Czech affiliates of Amnesty International, Greenpeace and Transparency International. For deeper probe into their activity there is a case study of Czech affiliate of Transparency International. The bachelor thesis is focused on projects of Czech affiliates of the international non-governmental organizations and it is focused on the ways the projects are enforced. The case study of the Transparency International analyzes national influence on its function, using the comparison of Czech affiliate with the centre of Transparency International and with the Australian affiliate. The case study of Czech affiliate of Transparency International is also focused on the projects that it leads, on its financial sources and on its relationship with the mass media.
