OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY IN PSYCHIATRY

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je na téma ergoterapie v psychiatrii, která je součástí ucelené léčby člověka s duševním onemocněním. Konkrétně jsem se zaměřila na diagnózu schizofrenie. V teoretické části popisuji vznik, příznaky, formy, diagnostiku, průběh, léčbu a prognózu tohoto onemocnění. Ve speciální části se zabývám možnostmi rehabilitace v psychiatrii, ergoterapií obecně a jejím uplatněním u psychiatrického onemocnění. Dále pak tím jaký dopad má onemocnění na život člověka s psychiatrickou diagnózou po psychické, sociální a pracovní stránce. V hlavní části popisuji kazuistiku klienta se schizoafektivní poruchou. Je zde popsáno orientační vyšetření, stanoven krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, zaznamenán průběh terapie a vypracován dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is on a topic called ''Occupational therapy in psychiatry'', which is a part of the integrated therapy for people with mental and psychological disorders. in my thesis I have paid special attention to schizophrenia and its diagnosis. In the theoretical part of my work I have described and explained the beginning, symptoms, types, diagnostics, course, therapy and prognosis of that disease. In the special part I have taken interest in the possibilities of rehabilitation in psychiatry, occupational therapy and its use in this mental disorder. In the following part I have dealt with the consequences and results of this mental disorder on patients' mental and social status and how it affects them in their work environment. In the main part of my work I have described the casuistry of a patient, that was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Hereby is the description of some examinations, determination of a short-term occupational therapy, course of therapy was also registered with a long-term occupational therapy plan.
