Set of Nursing Diagnos for Patients after Surgery in the Recovery Room

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo vytvoření souboru ošetřovatelských diagnóz u pacientů po operačních výkonech na dospávacích pokojích a zmapování výskytu vytvořených operačních diagnóz v jednotlivých operačních oborech. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část práce se zabývá teorií ošetřovatelských diagnóz, jejich významem, vývojem a tvorbou a dále je zaměřena na dospávací pokoje neboli pooperační jednotky či zotavovací pokoje a popisuje jejich vybavenost, funkčnost a činnost sester dospávacího pokoje, která je především soustředěna na monitoraci pacientů po operačních výkonech a řešení časných pooperačních komplikací. Druhá, praktická část práce se zabývá vytvořením souboru ošetřovatelských diagnóz pro dospávací pokoje a jejich testování v praxi. Průzkum diagnóz byl prováděn na základě pozorování klientů dospávacích pokojů Fakultní nemocnice v Ostravě. Šetření probíhalo od začátku září 2010 do konce prosince 2010 a účastnilo se ho 2887 klientů. V rámci šetření byl nalezen soubor ošetřovatelských diagnóz pro dospávací pokoje a byla zjištěna frekvence jednotlivých ošetřovatelských diagnóz po operačních výkonech v jednotlivých operačních oborech a zpřehledněno celkové mnoţství ošetřovatelských diagnóz vzhledem k celkovému mnoţství klientů. Nalezený soubor ošetřovatelských diagnóz dle NANDA taxonomie II vede ke zkvalitnění, zjednodušení a sjednocení pooperační ošetřovatelské péče.

Abstract:

The aim of my dissertation is to make a file of nursing diagnosis of patients after operations in Recovery Rooms and summarising the occurrence of determined operational diagnosis in particular operational branches. My dissertation is divided into two parts. In the first part there is dealt with the theory of nursing diagnosis, their importance, development and determination. Further Recovery Rooms as after-operational units are more specified here. It is described the facilities of Recovery Rooms, their function and the work of nurses of Recovery Rooms, which is especially concentrated on the monitoring of patients after operations and the solution of early after-operational complications. The second ? practical part of my dissertation is focused on making a file of nursing diagnosis for Recovery Rooms and their testing in nursing practice. The research of diagnosis was practised on the basis of observations of clients of Recovery Rooms in The Faculty Hospital in Ostrava. The research took place from September 2010 to December 2010 and 2887 clients took part in it. The file of nursing diagnosis for Recovery Rooms was found during the research. Also the frequency of particular nursing diagnosis after operations in particular operational branches was found out. The whole amount of nursing diagnosis was summarised with regard to the whole amount of clients. This found file of nursing diagnosis, according to NANDA taxonomy II, leads to better, more effective and more integrated after-operational nursing care.
