Phonetic Analysis of the most frequent words in Top German Vocabulary and their occurence in selected textbooks of German

Abstract:

Annotation My diploma thesis deals with the analysis of two teaching sets Deutsch mit Max 1 and Heute haben wir Deutsch 1 from the phonetic point of view. Each set consists of a textbook, workbook, methodical manual for teacher and CDs. In the theoretical part I describe the basic principles of Phonetics and Phonologie as well as difficult speech sounds. In the practical part I analyse the pronunciation exercises in the textbooks and examine, what are there their occurrence of the most frequent German words.

Abstract:

Anotace Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám analýzou dvou sad učebních materiálů-Deutsch mit Max 1 a Heute haben wir Deutsch 1 z fonetického hlediska. Každá sada sestává z učebnice, pracovního sešitu, příručky pro učitele a CD nahrávek. V teoretické části popisuji základní principy fonetiky a fonologie a obtížně vyslovitelné hlásky. V praktické části analyzuji fonetická cvičení v učebnicích a zkoumám, jaký je zde výskyt nejpoužívanějších německých slov.
