Study of coating subtances for horizontal road marking

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá modelováním nátěrové hmoty pro asfaltové vozovky. Byly vytvářeny nátěry na bázi akrylátového pojiva v kombinacích vápencového plniva o různé velikosti částic. Od každého typu vápencového plniva 1-VA, 5-VA, 15-VA byly připraveny nátěrové hmoty s OKP 10-80%. Tyto nátěrové hmoty byly aplikovány na skleněný a kovový podklad pro provedení zkoušek. U všech nátěrových filmů byly stanoveny následující mechanické vlastnosti, které přímo souvisí s kvalitou nátěru. Byly provedeny zkoušky, jako je povrchová tvrdost, odolnost vůči abrazi, odolnost vůči hloubení, pádu závaží. Na základě výsledků těchto zkoušek byly vytvořeny nátěrové hmoty s kombinací a poměru jednotlivých typů vápence. Nejlepší nátěrová hmota byla vyrobena jako nátěrová hmota s pigmentací oxidem titaničitým TiO2 (titanová běloba).

Abstract:

This dissertation deal with the formation of coating substances for asphalt roadways. Coats based on acrylate binder in combination of limestone filler with different size of particles were created. Coating substances with pigment volume concentration 10-80% were made of each type of limestone filler 1-VA, 5-VA, 15-VA. These coating substances were applied on glass and metal sheet to conduct the tests. Following mechanical properties directly related to the quality od the coat were determined for each of coating films. Tests such as resistance to abrasion, resistance to digging, to falling weight were conducted. Coating substances with combination and ratio of particular limestone types were created based on results of these tests. The best coating substance was created as the final coating substance with pigmentation by titanium dioxide TiO2 (titanium white).
