Czech adaptation of the SCORE-15 questionnaire

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl ověřit reliabilitu a faktorovou strukturu českého překladu dotazníku SCORE 15. Následně též provést analýzu odpovědí na kvalitativní položku dotazníku. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 205 osob ve věku 12-75 let. Testová-retestová reliabilita dosahovala rozmezí od 0,78 po 0,83, což potvrzuje dostatečnou stabilitu odpovědí na položky v čase. Vnitřní konzistence testu celého testu SCORE 15 je dostatečná, nicméně u dimenze narušená komunikace dosahovala pouze koeficientu alfa 0,67. Explorační faktorová analýza byla provedena zvlášť na vzorku populace bez klinické zkušenosti a zvlášť na vzorku s klinickou zkušeností v rodinném systému. Na těchto dvou vzorcích se potvrdil výskyt tří faktorů, nicméně rozložení položek je odlišné od originálního dotazníku SCORE 15 (Stratton, Bland, Janes & Lask, 2010). Oproti tomu na dva faktory poukazuje tato analýza aplikovaná na data získaná z celého vzorku. Probandi využívali k popisu svého rodinného systému především slova s pozitivní konotací. Za tímto účelem využívané pojmy nejčastěji odkazují na kategorie „rodinná struktura“ a „podporující chování“. Překlad dotazníku SCORE 15 vykazuje dostatečnou úroveň reliability avšak faktorová struktura dotazníku je nejednoznačná.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to test reliability and factor structure of the Czech translation of the SCORE 15 Questionnaire. Consequently the analysis of the qualitative questions answers will be done. The testing sample was 205 people at the age between 12-75 years old. Test and re-test reliability was ranging between 0,78 and 0,83 which proves enough answers stability in time. The overall results prove enough of inner consistency, even though the dimension of disrupted communication has reached only alpha coefficient 0,67. Exploration factor analysis, done separately on the sample without a clinical experience and separately on the sample with a clinical experience within the family system. In analysis of these two samples there has been a prove of existence of three factors as in the original SCORE 15 Questionnaire (Stratton, Bland, Janes & Lask, 2010) but distribution of items is different. If the whole sample is analysed only the existence of two factors is proved. The probands have used mostly the words with positive connotation to describe their family system. The terms used for this purpose would mostly fit within the categories of “family structure” and “supporting behaviour”. The translation of SCORE 15 shows sufficient level of reliability but the factor structure of the questionnaire is not sufficient.
