Bakalárska práca charakterizuje zmluvu ako právny titul sprostredkovania, pričom v jej úvode približuje proces kontraktácie zmluvy. Ďalej dopĺňa obchodnoprávne ustanovenia Obchodného zákonníka. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na sprostredkovateľskú zmluvu, jej základné ustanovenia a práva a povinnosti zmluvných strán. Tretia kapitola sa zaoberá zmluvou o sprostredkovaní.
