An exploration of the lean approach in e-sport

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá pracovní prostředí profesionálních hráčů počítačových her. Cílem bylo zmapovat současné prostředí v tuzemských a zahraničních e-sport organizacích. Celkem byly mapovány tři přední tuzemské a tři přední zahraniční organizace. U tuzemských týmů byly identifikovány nedostatky pracovního prostředí a následně navrženy změny tak, aby došlo ke zefektivnění tréninků a snížení negativních důsledků dlouhodobého hraní na zdravotní stav hráče. V poslední části práce bylo navrženo vhodné pracovní prostředí pro hráče za použití štíhlé metody 5S.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis explores the work environment of professional computer game players. The aim was to map the current environment in domestic and foreign e-sport organizations. The paper mapped three leading domestic and three leading foreign organizations. In the domestic ones, shortcomings of the working environment were identified, and changes were proposed to make training more effective and to reduce the harmful effects of long-term gaming on the player's health. In the last part of the paper, a suitable working environment for players was proposed using the 5S method.
