Anotácia:

Cílem této práce je anglicko-český překlad prvních čtyř kapitol románu Nezničitelná láska Iana McEwana a následný rozbor překladu anglických vytýkacích konstrukcí s ohledem na aktuální členění větné. Práce obsahuje praktickou a teoretickou část. Praktická část je věnována anglicko-českému překladu dané části knihy, který využívá komunikativní metodu a principy AČV. Teoretická část sestává z analýzy anglických vytýkacích konstrukcí a jejich českých ekvivalentů se zřetelem na AČV. Teoretické základy této práce spočívají především v dílech Jana Firbase, Martina Adama a Libuše Duškové

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is and English-Czech translation of the first four chapters of the novel Enduring Love by Ian McEwan and the consequent analysis of the translation of it-cleft sentences and pseudo-cleft sentences with special regard to the theory of Functional Sentence Perspective. The thesis includes a practical part and a theoretical part. The former is devoted to the English-Czech translation of the excerpt from the novel respecting the communicative method and the principles of FSP. The latter consists of analysis of the English it-cleft sentences and pseudo-cleft sentences and their Czech equivalents with respect to FSP. The theoretical background of this thesis lies mainly in the works of Jan Firbas, Martin Adam and Libuše Dušková.
