Abstract:
Zubní kaz je multifaktoriální onemocnění tvrdých zubních tkání, které je v populaci velmi rozšířené. Zubní kaz vzniká demineralizací zubní skloviny a náchylnost k tomuto onemocnění je geneticky podmíněná. Mutace v genech, které kódují proteiny zapojené v amelogenezi (tvorbě skloviny), jsou tudíž spojovány se vznikem a rozvojem zubního kazu. Abstract:
Dental caries is a multifactorial disease of the hard dental tissues which is widespread in the population. Dental caries is caused by demineralization of dental enamel and susceptibility to this disease is genetically conditioned.
