Cieľom práce je vyhodnotiť význam 30. rokov rozvíjajúcej sa spolupráce medzi Českou republikou, Slovenskom, Maďarskom a Poľskom v rámci tzv. Vyšehradskej štvorky – V4 a poukázať na jej perspektívy. Práca mapuje okolnosti vzniku SR, politický vývoj a spoločenské smerovania v období od roku 1993.
