Sharing economy and its reflection on economy of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sdílenou ekonomikou a jejím odrazem v ekonomice České republiky primárně v letech 2015–2018. Sdílená ekonomika je vnímána jako nový podnikatelský prostor přinášející nové formy podnikání, které nebyly dříve možné a nejsou založeny pouze na osobním vlastnictví, což je předmětem hypotézy této práce. Cílem práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit dopad působení tohoto podnikání na Českou republiku a subjekty v ní žijící.Po kvantitativní analýze podpořené empirickým výzkumem a realizovaných rozhovorech, je možné tvrdit, že hlavním důsledkem, při stálém růstu popularity sdílené ekonomiky, je především větší konkurenční boj. Ten s sebou přináší tlak na snižování cen jízdného a ubytování, podporu rychlejší digitalizace, ale i daňové úniky, nelegální podnikání a snižováni kvality služeb. Do budoucna je očekáván stále větší dopad na ekonomiku s prohlubujícími se stávajícími problémy ovlivněn pouze mírou regulací.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on sharing economy and its reflection on economy of the Czech Republic, particularly in years 2015-2018. The subject of hypothesis is as follows. Sharing economy is perceived as new entrepreneur opportunity which brings a new sort of entrepreneurship. This was not practicable previously and are not based only on personal ownership. The purpose is to analyse and to evaluate impact of influence of this entrepreneurship on the Czech Republic and theirs entities.Following quantitative analysis, which was supported by empirical research and interviews, it is possible to assume that major consequence, presuming stable growth of popularity of sharing economy, is primarily more significant competition. This brings constant pressure on lowering fare and accommodation prices, support of prompt digitalization, but also tax evasions, illegal entrepreneurship and decreasing level of services. Expectations derived from this thesis are bigger impact on economy with deepening current issues. Only further regulations could change this course.
