Urban exploration – The modern documentaries on the edge of the law (set of publicistic articles for leisuretime magazines of Hospodářské noviny)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma ‚Urban explorace – moderní dokumentaristika na hraně zákona‘ se skládá z publicistických textů žánrů reportáže a feature pro magazín IN Hospodářských novin, vycházející každou středu a magazín Víkend Hospodářských novin, vycházející každý pátek. Jejich tématem je urban explorace a opuštěná místa, navštívená právě během průzkumů. Náplní teoretické části práce je vymezení žánrů reportáže a feature a popsání historie a současnosti urban explorace. Velká část je věnovaná vztahu urban explorace k etice a právu. V tvůrčí části jsou pak zařazeny tři reportáže z průzkumů a jeden feature, který pojednává o urban exploraci jako takové. Zároveň je každý z textů doplněn o kritickou reflexi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis about the topic ‚Urban exploration – the modern documentaries on the edge of the law‘ consists of publicistic texts written in the genres reportage and feature. It is written for the magazine IN of Hospodářské noviny newspapers which is published every Wednesday and the magazine Víkend of Hospodářské noviny newspaper which is published every Friday. The topic of texts is urban exploration and abandoned places, which were visited during exploration. The contend of the teoretic work here are the definition of genres of reportage and feature and a description of history and present of urban exploration. Large part is devoted to relationship of urban exploration with ethics and law. In the creative part of thesis here are three reportages about exploring and one feature which discusses the urban exploration as a whole. Simultaneously, each of texts is completed by critical reflection.
