Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou bezpečnosti v El Salvadoru a Hondurasu. Cílem práce je objasnit bezpečnostní problematiku maras (středoamerických pouličních gangů) a popsat, jak jejich činnost ovlivňuje vnitřní bezpečnost daných zemí. This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of security in El Salvador and Honduras. The aim of the thesis is to clarify the security issue of maras (Central American street gangs) and describe how their activity affects the internal security of the countries at hand.
