Balancing and setting goals in a a family caring about a child with a mental disability

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo vypracování designu kvalitativního výzkumu. Podle této práce bude následně vypracována bakalářská práce, která bude případovou studií. Téma obou prací je bilancování a stanovování cílů v rodině pečující o mentálně postižené dítě. Design výzkumu se skládá ze dvou částí, a to teoretická a metodologická. V teoretické práci se věnuji obecně profesi sociální práce, dále pojmu sociální fungování a v další kapitole posouzení životní situace. Další kapitola se jmenuje dítě s mentálním postižením v rodině a poslední kapitola teoretické části se zabývá sociální prací s lidmi s mentálním postižením především dávkám pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a službám. V metodologické části píši o tom, co je kvalitativní výzkum, design výzkumu, co je výzkumným problémem a výzkumnou otázkou a dále jaký je výzkumný vzorek. Polostrukturovaný rozhovor popisuji jako metodu sběru dat, kterou budu používat, dále kódování jako metodu zpracování dat. Další kapitolou je etika výzkumu a také reflexe vstupu do terénu, co byla reflexe prvního rozhovoru s matkou dítěte.

Abstract:

The aim of this graduation thesis was develop a design of a qualitative research. According to this graduation thesis is develop my following bachelor thesis, which will be a case study. The theme of both thesis is balancing and setting the goals in family taking care of child with mental disability. The design of research consists of two parts and it is theoretical and methodological. Theoretical part focus on profession of social work, further to a concept of social functioning and in other chapter there is assessment of life situation. Other chapter is called child with mental disability in family and the last chapter in theoretical part focus on social work with people with mental disability primarily to benefits for people with mental disability and services for these people. In methodological part I write what is the qualitative research, design of the research, what is the research problem and a question and further about research sample. I describe semi-structured interview as a method of data collection, next is coding like a method of data processing. Other chapter is an ethics of research and reflection of entry into a terrain, which was the reflection of a first interview with mother of child.
