Japanese fiscal policy in the nineteen nineties as viewed by the keynesian economic theory

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor thesis „Japanese fiscal policy in the nineteen nineties as viewed by the keynesan economic theory“ is to narrow down the keynesian fiscal messures, which were implemented by the Japanese government in the nineties. The firs part narrows down the keynesian theory from the point of view of the fiscal policy. In the second part I describe Japanese fiscal institutions and budgets and the way they work. The third part describes the economic situation which preceeded the nineteen nineties in Japan. The fourth part chronologicaly evaluates changes in the fiscal policy from various points of view. The last, fifth, part includes an analysis of my findings and evaluates the effectivity of the keynesian fiscal policy in Japan during the nineties.

Abstract:

Predmetom bakalárskej práce „Fiškálna politika v Japonsku v 90.rokoch pohľadom Keynesiánskej ekonomickej teórie“ je vymedzenia Keynesiánskych fiškálnych opatrení, ktoré boli implementované Japonskou vládou v 90. rokoch. Prvá časť vymedzuje Keynesiánsku ekonomickú teóriu z pohľadu fiškálnej politiky. V druhej časti vymedzujem Japonské fiškálne inštitúcie a rozpočty a ich fungovanie. V časti tretej popisujem východzí stav ekonomiky v krajine pred dekádou 1990-2000. V časti štvrtej chronologicky hodnotím zmeny fiškálnej politiky počas skúmanej dekády z viacerých uhlov pohľadu. V poslednej, piatej časti prebehla stručná analýza mojich zistení a hodnotenie efektivity Keynesiánskej fiškálnej politiky v Japonsku počas 90. rokov.
