Abstract:

Uvedená diplomová práce "Osobnost, život a doba Alexandra Makedonského ve světle české historiografie 20. století", věcně, chronologicky i metodologicky navazuje na moji dřívější bakalářskou práci ze slavného období klasického Řecka. Jejím hlavním smyslem a cílem je jednak pokus o vytvoření vlastní přehledné historické syntézy poznatků daného období starověku, dále pak provedení analýzy vybraných významných děl naší historiografie, našich předních českých autorů 20. století. Analýza děl pak bude doplněna jejich základní vzájemnou komparací. Na základě samostatného studia daného období starověkých dějin, budou badatelskými metodami syntézy, analýzy a komparace zobrazena, analyzována a porovnána a celkově zhodnocena základní díla našich předních historiků. Práce se skládá z části syntézy, postihující starověké Řecko před Alexandrem Makedonským, dále vlastní Alexandrovu říši a říše jeho nástupců,z přehledu a analýzy jednotlivých děl a z části srovnávací - komparační.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis called "Personality, Life and time of Alexander Macedonian in the light of the Czech historiography of 20. Century", factually, chronologically and methodologically follows the previous bachelor thesis of the famous period of history in classical Greece. Its main purpose in the attempt to create a self-arranged historicalof theknowledge of hte period antikvity, and then perform analysis of selected important works of our historiography, our leading Czech autors 20. Century. The analysis of the works will be complemented by their basic mutual comparation. On the basis of a separate study of the period of history, the main methods of synthesis, analysis and comparison will be displayed, analysed, compared and the overal evaluation of the basic works of our leading historians written and published in the 20. Century. The work will be taken into account not only political but also in economic, social and cultural history. The thesis consists of part of synthesis, affecting the ancient Greece before Alexander Macedonian, the Alexanders Empire and his successors, from the survey and analysis of individual works and from the comparing.
