Changes of Scout's Movement during the Coronavirus Crisis in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Svět zachvátila pandemie viru SARS-COV-2 a život lidí se naprosto změnil. Byly zavřeny školy, restaurace, služby a mnoho dalších institucí. Vláda vydala nařízení, které zakazovalo styk osob. Žádné kroužky a organizace nemohly vykonávat svoji běžnou činnost. Všechny aktivity byly zkrátka pozastaveny. Pozastavení činnosti se nevyhnula organizace Junák - Český skaut, která je ústřední součástí následujícího výzkumu. Tento výzkum se zaměřil na členy organizace Junák-Český skaut, kteří se nechtěli s nečinností smířit a určitým způsobem přizpůsobili svoji činnost dané situaci. Museli najít jinou formu, přejít na jiný systém, jak by se mohli spolu scházet. Někteří nabídli pomocnou ruku a konali různé dobrovolné činnosti. Výzkum si kladl za cíl zjistit, k jakým změnám v této organizaci docházelo během koronavirové krize, zdali se členové scházeli a jakým způsobem probíhala skautská pomoc. K tomu byl použit dotazník skládající se ze 48 položek. Jedná se o soubor škálových, uzavřených a polouzavřených otázek. Teoretická část výzkumu je rozdělena do tří kapitol, jenž pojednávají o Pedagogice volného času, skautingu a koronaviru obecně.

Abstract:

The SARS-COV-2 pandemic has swept the world and many people's lives have been completely changed. Schools, restaurants, services and many other institutions had to close down. The government issued a decree that banned contact between people. Clubs and organizations could no longer carry out their normal activities. All activities were simply suspended. The organization Junák - Czech Scout, which is a central part of the following research, did not avoid the suspension of activities either. This research is focused on the members of the Junák - Český skaut organization who did not want to stop. They tried to adapt their activities to the situation. They had to find another form of running the organization and switch to a new system that enabled them to meet together. Some of them offered their help and did many voluntary activities. The research focused on finding out which kind of changes took place in the organization during the coronavirus crisis. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of 48 questions was used with a set of scale, closed and semi-closed questions being employed. The theoretical part of the research is divided into three chapters which deal with the Pedagogy of Leisure Time, Scouting and Coronavirus in general.
