The corporate culture of the company Eurowag

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat firemní kulturu společnosti W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s., nebo také Eurowag. S tímto cílem se pojí dvě výzkumné otázky, a to, zda má Eurowag slabou či silnou firemní kulturu a zda je snadné pro zaměstnance odkoupených, nyní dceřiných společností, se do této kultury zaintegrovat. Práce nejdříve rozebírá pojmy „kultura“ a firemní kultura“, a to z pohledu několika autorů. Následně je podrobně představena společnost W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s. – její historie i současnost, nabízené produkty, organizační struktura či logo společnosti. Dále je analyzována její firemní kultura na základě volně dostupných informací, interních dokumentů a pomocí strukturovaného rozhovoru. V závěru práce jsou představeny výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi zaměstnanci dceřiných firem. Hlavním přínosem je objektivní zhodnocení aktuálního stavu firemní kultury a zhodnocení obtížnosti integrace zaměstnanců do této kultury.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the corporate culture of W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s., or also Eurowag. Two research questions are related to this aim, whether Eurowag has a weak or strong corporate culture, and whether it is easy for employees of recent subsidiaries to integrate into this culture. The work first analyses the terms "culture" and corporate culture", from the perspective of several authors. Afterwards, W.A.G. payment solutions, a.s., is presented in detail – its history and present, offered products, organizational structure or company logo. Furthermore, its corporate culture is analysed based on freely available information, internal documents and a structured interview. At the end of the thesis are presented results of questionnaire surveys, which took place among employees of subsidiary companies. The main benefit is an objective evaluation of the current state of corporate culture and an evaluation of the difficulty of integrating employees into this culture.
