Anti-conflict Teams and Their Role in Ensuring the Safety of Sports Matches

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice antikonfliktních týmů a jejich využití v rámci zajišťování bezpečnosti sportovních utkání, zejména fotbalových zápasů. Antikonfliktní týmy jsou v rámci policejní struktury poměrně novinkou, avšak při zavádění moderních trendů zajišťování bezpečnosti do praxe mají neoddiskutovatelný přínos. Jak již plyne z jejich názvu, jejich cílem by měla být zejména deeskalace konfliktů a tím celkově násilí. Cílem této práce je představení antikonfliktních týmů a jejich činností při fotbalových utkáních, a to jak z pohledu odborné veřejnosti, tak přímo pozorováním práce týmu v praxi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of anti-conflict teams and their use in the context of ensuring the safety of sports matches, especially football matches. Anti-conflict teams are relatively new within the police structure, however, they have an undeniable benefit in the implementation of modern trends in security provision. As their name implies, their main aim should be to de-escalate conflict and thus violence in general. The aim of this thesis is to introduce anti-conflict teams and their activities during football matches, both from the perspective of the professional community and by directly observing the work of the team in practice.
