Illustrations of the Book The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents
Abstract:
Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit ilustrace ke knize Úžasný Mauric a jeho vzdělaní hlodavci od Terryho Pratchetta. Tento příběh se dá označit jako moderní bajka. Výsledkem práce jsou dvě knihy a propagační materiály. Pro první knihu jsem vytvořila 18 malovaných ilustrací. Pro druhou knihu vzniklo 10 ilustrací šablonovým tiskem. Knihy jsem vysázela, graficky upravila a svázala.
Abstract:
The main purpose of my bachelor work was to create illustrations. I have chosen Terry Pratchett's book The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents for this purpose. It's a fable about cat and rats. I created two books and promotional items. I have painted eighteen illustrations for the first book. I used tempera paints mixed with varnish. The second book is a pop-up book for children.
