Impressionism in the french organ music
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce pojednává o projevech impresionismu v dílech francouzských varhanních skladatelů 19. a 20. století. Popisuje základní rysy impresionismu a objasňuje, jak se promítly do francouzských varhanních děl té doby. Zabývá se také okolnostmi jejich vzniku a hledá možnosti jejich interpretace, které by byly v souladu s estetikou impresionismu.
Abstract:
The Thesis deals with signs of impressionism in works of French organ composers 19th and 20th century. It describes basic characteristics of impressionism and clarifies their influence on French organ works of that time. It enlightens circumstances of their emergence and finds ways of their interpretation according to impressionistic aesthetic.
