Teleworking and his exploitation in CR\nl{}

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je charakteristika stále rozvíjející se a v České republice dosud málo používané formy práce {--} teleworkingu. Teoretická část obsahuje podrobnou charakteristiku pojmu teleworking, jeho výhody a nevýhody a to z pohledu zaměstnance, zaměstnavatele a celé společnosti. Následující kapitola se týká nákladů na pracovní prostředí a provoz, problematiky přístupu na internet a do firemní sítě. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je popsáno telecentrum. Úkolem praktické části je výzkum a jeho vyhodnocení. Pro tento účel byl vytvořen dotazník, který byl poslán softwarovým firmám, které označovaly jednotlivé odpovědi pomocí zaškrtávacích tlačítek, jejichž tvorba je zde popsána. Dále je rozebráno doporučení pro zavedení teleworkingu a případová studie, která popisuje problematiku teleworkingu ve vybrané firmě. Následuje charakteristika technologie TelePresence, kterou používají firmy pro komunikaci. Závěr práce tvoří celkové zhodnocení a možný vývoj do budoucnosti.

Abstract:

The subject of this master thesis is a characterization of teleworking, a work arrangement which is still evolving and not broadly used in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis provides the basics of teleworking, discusses its advantages and disadvantages from the point of view of employees, employers, and an organization as a whole. Next, it focuses on the cost of setting up such a working environment and its upkeep, the issue of connecting to the organization's private network through the Internet. Finally, it describes a so-called telecentre. The objective of the practical part of the thesis is to carry out a survey and its evaluation. For this purpose a questionnaire has been created and sent to a group of selected software companies; the concept of the questionnaire, based on checkbox buttons, is described in more detail. Further, some recommendations for the implementation of teleworking are given and a case study illustrates the approach to teleworking taken by a chosen company. Lastly, a description of TelePresence, a widely-used technology for communication, is provided. In the end, the fulfilment of the goals is analysed and possible future work is discussed.
