The influence of indebtedness on individuals propensity to participate in the shadow economy in the Ústí nad Labem region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na analýzu účasti obyvatel Ústeckého kraje na stínové ekonomice v závislosti na jejich finanční situaci. Téma stínové ekonomiky je poměrně aktuálním a velkým problémem, avšak ve společnosti není tématem adekvátně diskutovaným. Cílem práce je ověření hypotézy, že zadluženost obyvatel Ústeckého kraje pozitivně ovlivňuje participaci na stínové ekonomice. Hlavními pilíři práce jsou teoretická ukotvení stínové ekonomiky a analýza Ústeckého kraje, zde se zaměřením na demografické, sociologické a jiné faktory. Pro praktickou část je hlavním zdrojem kvantitativní dotazníkové šetření respondentů žijících v tomto kraji. Závěr práce interpretuje výsledky validující konstrukci hypotézy konstatovat, že přímý vztah mezi finančními problémy jedince a jeho postojem vůči stínovým aktivitám bude kladný,

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the participants living in the Ústí region, focusing on the shadow economy depending on their financial situation. The topic of the shadow economy is a relatively current and large problem, however it is not a topic adequately discussed in society. The aim of the thesis is to verify the hypothesis that the indeptedness of population living in the Ústí region has a positive effect on participation in the shadow economy. The main pillars of thesis are the theoretical anchorages of the shadow economy and the analysis of the Ústí region, with a focus on demographic, sociological and other factors. For the practical part, the main source is the quantitative questionnaire survey completed by the respondents living in this region. The conclusion of the thesis interprets the results proving the construction of the hypothesis to state that the direct relationship between an individual´s financial issues and their attitude towards atomic activities will be positive.
