This bachelor thesis is focused on the theoretical study of bacteriochlorophyll aggregates. Bacteriochlorophyll (BChl) is a photosynthetic pigment found in light-harvesting antenna systems called chlorosomes. It has been found, that in chlorosomes these aggregates have a lamellar nature, and form distinct curvature.
