Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním postavení příslušníků "lidu Knihy" (ahl al-kitáb) v Egyptě a muslimském Španělsku. Nejprve je vymezeno, kdo je muslimy takto označován, jaký byl vývoj stanovování podmínek pro jejich život v islámské říši od doby proroka Muhammada a hlavně změny a přizpůsobování v důsledku rychlé územní expanze říše. Následuje stručný rozbor problematiky rozdílného přístupu sunnitů a šíitů k "lidu Knihy", jednání muslimských dobyvatelů k sabejců a zoroastrovcům a také k obyvatelům Indie. Dále jsou uvedena samotná základní práva a povinnosti, které náležely chráněným obyvatelům muslimské říše, protože těmi se příslušníci náboženství Knihy stávali po obsazení jejich území muslimy. Další část práce se zabývá popsáním Egypta a muslimského Španělska od doby jejich dobytí do příchodu Osmanů do Egypta a konce muslimské vlády na Pyrenejském poloostrově. Každé oblasti přísluší jedna kapitola, která je rozdělená na dvě části historickou a praktickou. Historická popisuje historické souvislosti dobytí a následný vývoj a tím doplňuje a osvětluje chování a změny v postavení chráněného lidu, které jsou popsané v praktické části. Ta je navíc doplněna ukázkami soudobých děl. Poslední část je samotnou komparací postavení "lidu Knihy" v jednotlivých etapách vývoje těchto dvou oblastí

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the statues of members of the "people of the Book" ( ahl al-Kitab ) in Egypt and Muslim Spain. First, it defined who is thus called by Muslims, what was the development of determine the conditions for their life in the Islamic empire from the time of the Prophet Muhammad and the main changes and adaptation due to rapid territorial expansion of the empire. The following is brief analyse of the issue of differential access Sunnis and Shiites to the "people of the Book" behavior Muslim conquerors to Zoroastrians and Sabians and people of India. The next are the very fundamental rights and responsibilities that belonged to a protected people of the Muslim empire, because those members of the religions of the Book became after the occupation of their territory by Muslims. The next part of the thesis deals with describing Egypt and Muslim Spain from the time of their conquests to the arrival of the Ottomans to Egypt and the end of Muslim rule on the Pyrenean peninsula. Every territory has one chapter, which is divided into two parts - historical and practical. Historical part describes the historical context of conquest and subsequent development, and thus complements and explains the behavior and changes in the status of protected people, which are described in the practical part. In addition, it is complemented by examples of contemporary publications. The last part is the very comparison of the status of "people of the Book" in particular stages of development of these two areas.
