Motivational tools and their influence on employees' performance in SME

Abstract:

V diplomové práci je řešena problematika motivačních nástrojů v malých a středních podnicích situovaných v Rusku a České republice. Při zpracování vybraného tématu jsou shromažďovány a analyzovány dostupné informace o vybraných malých a středních podnicích a zároveň i o celkové situaci týkající se motivace a řízení lidí v Rusku a České republice. Na základě zhodnocení a analýzy získaných informací o vybraných problémech, jejich konfrontace s teoretickými, dosud známými podklady, je cílem diplomové práce komparace oblasti motivace ve zkoumaných podnicích. V práci se rovněž pracuje s hypotézami. První hypotézou je domněnka, že peníze jsou motivačním faktorem, který má velmi silný účinek, avšak tento účinek působí jenom z krátkodobého hlediska. Další hypotézou je domněnka, že v Rusku právě peněžní faktory budou vnímány manažery jako hlavní prvek motivačního systému podniku. Teoretická část je postavená na literární rešerši zkoumané problematiky, a to v oblasti analýzy české a ruské literatury věnované MSP. V rámci praktické části práce se vyšlo hlavně z řízených rozhovorů s představiteli vybraných podniků. Rovněž je podrobena analýze i interní dokumentace podniku – zejména materiály týkající se řízení lidských zdrojů a motivace zaměstnanců. V práci se rovněž využila i metoda komparace.

Abstract:

The thesis is dealing with the issue of motivational tools in small and medium-sized enterprises. Research is investigating Russia and the Czech Republic and is aimed on employee motivation field. The selected topic is processed by collecting and analyzing available information on selected small and medium enterprises, and on the overall situation regarding motivation and people management in Russia and the Czech Republic. Based on the evaluation and analysis of collected information on selected issues, their confrontation with theoretical, previously known documents, the point of this thesis is providing comparison of motivation in the surveyed companies. The thesis is also working with hypotheses. The first hypothesis is an assumption that money is the motivating factor that has a very strong effect, but the effect works only in the short term. Another hypothesis is the assumption that in case of Russia only monetary factors are perceived by managers as the main element of the incentive system of the company. The theoretical part is based on literature research about the examined issue, literature research was conducted for SMEs field. The practical part of the thesis is based mainly on structured interviews with representatives of selected companies. The research also works with analysis of internal enterprise documents - especially materials related to human resources management and employee motivation. The method of comparison is also present in the thesis.
