Foster care in the context of attending to the needs of children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem ?Pěstounská péče v kontextu zajišťování potřeb dětí? se zabývá pěstounskou péči a potřebami dětí, které jsou svěřovány do této formy péče. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat zprostředkovanou a nezprostředkovanou pěstounskou péči se zaměřením se na zajišťování potřeb dětí v pěstounské péči. Úvod práce je zaměřen na institut pěstounské péče a její formy. Zabývá se i právy a povinnostmi pěstounů, které vyplývají z uzavření dohody o výkonu pěstounské péče dle zákona o sociálně-právní ochraně dětí. Bakalářská práce se dále zaměřuje na charakteristiky jednotlivých potřeb. Potřeby jsou využity z Maslowovy pyramidy potřeb a teorie potřeb dle Pesso Boyden terapie. Významnou součástí této práce je poukázání na problémy, se kterými se děti v pěstounské péči potýkají, když nejsou jejich základní ani specifické potřeby dostatečně uspokojovány. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována vztahové vazbě (attachmentu) a poruše attachmentu, kdy se nedostává dítěti dostatek pocitu bezpečí a není uspokojena vztahová vazba mezi dítětem a pečující osobou. Výzkumná část práce je zpracována kvantitativní výzkumnou strategii. Jako technika sběru dat byl použit dotazník. Výzkumným vzorkem byli pěstouni mající děti v pěstounské péči. Získaná data jsem následně analyzovala pomoci jednorozměrné a dvourozměrné analýzy.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis titled "Foster care in the context of attending to the needs of children" deals with foster care and the needs of children who are entrusted to this form of care. The aim of my thesis is to describe mediated and unmediated foster care with a focus on meeting the needs of children in foster care. Introduction of the work is focused on foster care and its forms. It also addresses the rights and responsibilities of foster parents, resulting from an agreement on the performance of foster care, according to the law on child protection. Thesis also focuses on the characteristics of individual needs. Needs are used accordingly to Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Theory of needs by Pesso Boyden therapy. An important part of this work is pointing out the problems which children in foster care face when their basic nor specific needs are not adequately met. The last chapter is devoted to the relationship bond (the attachment) and the failure of the attachment when the child does not receive sufficient sense of security and is not satisfied relational bond between child and foster parent. The research part describes quantitative research strategy. As a technique of data collection was used the questionnaire. The research sample were foster parents with children in foster care. I then analyzed the data for help the one-dimensional and two-dimensional analysis.
