Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku nominace kandidátů do prvních přímých prezidentských voleb. Popisuje procesů nominací občanských i stranických kandidátů, jejich sběr podpisů a komunikaci s voliči. Zaměřuje se také na představení práce úředníků Ministerstva vnitra ČR před volbami a postup při ověřování kandidátních listin a petic a jejich následné zaregistrování či odmítnutí. The paper is concerned with problem of nomination of presidential candidates for the first direct election in history of Czech Republic. It is focused on descripiton of nomination proces of civic candidates and candidates supported by their political parties and also on collection of signatures of Czech citizens and on communication among candidates and their voters.
