Model of various cooperating evolutionary algorithms

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována evolučním algoritmům a jejich paralelním modelům. V rámci práce je navrženo několik variant. Všechny tyto algoritmy byly testovány na sbírce úloh CEC14 a následně byly vyhodnoceny. Do modelu v rámci této práce bylo použito na základě experimentu pět různých evolučních algoritmů, které byly následně implementovány ve třech různých paralelních modelech. V rámci experimentu bylo testováno několik různých nastavení jednoho z paralelních modelů. Avšak pro malou dimenzi byly výsledky navržených modelů horší než u původních algoritmů. Ve vyšší dimenzi jeden z navržených modelů nalezl stejně vhodné řešení jako algoritmus IDE.

Abstract:

This master thesis is devoted to evolutionary algorithms and their parallel models. Several variants are proposed. All of these algorithms were tested on a collection of tasks CEC14 and then evaluated. Five different evolutionary algorithms were applied to the model in this experiment, which were subsequently implemented in three different parallel models. Several different settings of one of the parallel models have been tested in the experiment. However, for small dimension, the results of the proposed models were worse than the original algorithms. In higher dimension, one of the suggested models found the same solution as the IDE algorithm.
