Production of early medieval spurs from the point of view of pXRF analyses
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá analýzami prvkového složení ranně středověkých ostruh pomocí pXRF. Konkrétně částmi ostruh vyrobených ze slitin mědi, případně zlata, nebo stříbra. Práce je zaměřená na jihomoravské lokality Břeclav-Pohansko a Mikulčice. Analýzy jsou vyhodnoceny formou obecných trendů materiálu slitin mědi.
Abstract:
Thesis deals with the analysis of the elemental composition of early medieval spurs using pXRF. Specifically, it focuses on the parts of spurs made of copper alloys, gold, or silver. The study is focused on the South Moravian sites of Břeclav-Pohansko and Mikulčice. The analyses are evaluated in the form of general trends in the material composition of copper alloys.
