The Frequency and Productivity of the Nominal Suffix -ec (Corpus Analysis)
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá frekvenci a produktivitu sufixu -ec u substantiv rodu mužského životného a neživotného. Vychází z teoretických poznatků uvedených ve standardních mluvnicích češtiny. Pro získání seznamu slov byl využit nástroj Deriv. Jako zdroje dat posloužily dva jazykové korpusy – SYN2000 a CzTenTen12.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis examines the frequency and productivity of the nominal suffix -ec in the masculine animate and inanimate substantives. It comes out from theoretical findings mentioned in standard czech grammar books.The list of words was generated by the Deriv tool, which used two language corpuses - SYN2000 and CzTenTen12 - as a source of data.
