Práce se zabývá vlivem japanismu ve výtvarné kultuře v 2. polovině 19. století a počátku 20. století. Tomuto proudu předcházelo zrušení izolace Japonska a následné vyvážení japonských dřevotisků, které byly v uměleckých kruzích velmi oblíbené. This thesis deals with influence of japanism on the visual arts in the second half of the 19th century and the beginnig of the 20th century. This trend was preceded by annulment of an isolation of Japan followed by export of the Japanese woodprints, which were favourite by in the artistic circles.
